WELLNESS WORKSHOP

Title: “Ride Or Die - Becoming Besties With Your Mind, Body and Culture”

Length: 3 hours. Capacity: up to 50 participants. $1500 for private groups.

When chronic stress becomes the norm, our minds, bodies & culture are all affected. Noticing these dynamics and asking ourselves, “Why am I doing what I am doing?” can serve as a catalyst for change and profound transformation. When we establish an invaluable “Why,” our purpose becomes crystal clear, support starts to show up & we simply feel better. Our mental and physical health must be treated as equals, as they are the main ingredients in what define our culture. Relationships can then blossom, health outcomes improve and communities begin to thrive, with a profound sense of honesty and respect.

In this workshop, Amelia takes you on a journey of wild storytelling — from living in Italy and breaking her vegan edge to making bathtub music videos for her podcast. Using humor as a way to navigate behavior change, she will inspire you to uncover and honor your best self. Through a 26 year career in entertainment and event planning, and a passion for wellness since her early 20s, Amelia shares how a sustainable and personalized “Ride or Die Why” is the golden ticket to optimizing one’s mind, body and culture. As a Certified Personal Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist, as well as a podcast host, Amelia blends her professional experience of entertainment and wellness in an intriguing, interactive workshop for people who are eager for a fresh approach to sustainable behavior change.

Length: 45 minutes plus discussion time. Capacity: no limit. I offer this class to Senior Centers and Libraries for FREE. $500 for private groups.

This presentation is all about myth busting fears and misinformation around saturated fat and heart health, focusing on three main factors: glucose intake, insulin, and dietary fat. My certification and skills as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Advisor guide participants on a science-backed, evidence-based journey that helps clear confusion around the very complex subject of cholesterol. You will leave the class with a clearer understanding of how to better eat for a healthy heart, as well as tips on how to talk with your doctor about your concerns. We also emphasize the importance of getting a spectrum of blood tests, that most family doctors miss.
